Alpha Netball Club has been established since 1979 and provides the opportunity for women of all ages and racial backgrounds to practise the sport of Netball, both for recreational and competitive purposes within a structured and developmental environment.

The club currently has four teams within three adult leagues.

The club also has links to local colleges and universities, providing coaching and umpiring resources to local students playing within the SESSA (Southern England Student Sports Association) and BUSA (British Universities Sports Association) leagues.

The club also provides information and training on local umpiring and coaching courses for members who wish to develop these skills and become qualified.
